Former Garlean operative

Nona is a Midlander Hyur that was orphaned by war and taken in by the Garlean Empire. Trained as a Frumentarius; she served the Empire as needed, when needed. She holds no animosity towards foreign entities, however. A loyal and dedicated woman, Nona seeks to protect all Spoken and make the Star a better place. 'Good Enough' is not a phrase she accepts.

This Carrd is still a WIP. The Idiosyncrasies page in particular is a text vomit that I still need to refine. It's also missing an entire section I'd like to add. Currently, it serves as a "Hooks" page with hefty spoilers. It hints at a lot of her backstory and Endwalker spoilers (Patch 6.0).

Nona's heritage is unknown to most, if not all. Her earliest memories were in the care of a Garlean laboratory. What may be surprising to many is that she no perceivable trauma from this event. If asked, Nona will admit to having a wonderful and educational upbringing.Nona earned her citizenship in her late teen years as an operative of the Frumentarium. Her work was classified and most (if not all) records of the project she was assigned to did not survive the civil war. Nona will admit to be a Frumentarius but rarely speaks on what she actually did.Following the civil war, Nona's service became chaotic and confusing. She first tried to repel the Eorzean Alliance's invasion, but was quick to see the folly in such. Many were quick to call Nona a traitor, but she has worked alongside the Eorzean Alliance since the horrible, final days of the Empire as the star knew it.

Interests & Ideas

There is not much information out there about Nona. Most of her service to the Garlean Empire has been classified and she saw to destroying any records she knew of that pertained to herself and her unit. With that said, however, there are records with the Eorzean Alliance, and perhaps even some sightings by fellow Garleans.What is labeled in — green markings are things which are fairly common knowledge. — Yellow markings indicate fairly personal and only likely to have been overheard in person, or by knowing someone who knows her. Finally, — red markers are exclusive to well-informed Garleans and Dalmascans. As with all things, use your best judgement and please do not metagame. When in doubt, or if interested in setting something up. Please just ask me! I'll be happy to discuss it ♥

One final note that I wish to make abundantly clear: This section DOES contain spoilers for Final Fantasy XIV 6.0 Expansion, Endwalkers and my character, Nona. Please have completed the MSQ up to level 86 before reading this section unless you do not care. Hey everyone!♥ Thank you for coming to look at my carrd. It's a work in progress. My name is Lily and I'm a 21+ year old woman. I typically roleplay late night and early morning weekdays. My work schedule makes roleplaying on weekends almost impossible most of the year.I've been playing MMORPGs (FFXI my first!) since about 2004. I was introduced to roleplaying in MMOs around 2013 and it quickly became one of my favorite hobbies. I've mostly being roleplaying in FFXIV, though I did dabble a little in ESO, SWTOR, and GW2.It was also brought to my attention that "Eversor" is a character name in another universe. I try to write several lines per post if it's warranted and am not against multi-paragraph posting. I will try to mirror who I am roleplaying with to the best of my ability. I typically only use /tell in RP in conjunction with an emote to indicate my character is whispering or in response to a shared (IC) 'linkpearl'.※In-Game Languages: Another note I would like to elaborate on about my RP style is that I will always write in English. I will not use another real world language in substitute of a fantasy language. When I use different language than common IC, I use XIV's autotranslate brackets that I have saved in a macro that loosely will look like: "{| Hello, my name is Nona and I am speaking in Garlean right now. |}"Walk-ups: ♡ I love them. If you see me with /roleplaying up you do not have to ask if it's okay to approach. It always is! My average post time is between 2-5 minutes, but sometimes a more complex post may take up to 10 minutes. If longer that that, I may of missed your post and will not begrudge anyone for a /tell poke. I sometimes disable standard emotes from being displayed due to spam. If your approach is just a standard emote I may miss it. **Mature themes: I'm open to almost all mature themes except sexual violence and non-consensual sex scenes. If you're worried, do not hesitate to ask if a scene is alright. I don't easily judge or feel a need to shame anyone's style as long as it doesn't violate my Absolutely Not's listed above.Erotic Roleplay: I'm not against it, nor am I driven by it. If that is all you are looking for from an interaction, I may not be the best person to approach. Nona is not looking for a one-night stand and trust is an important factor to her.Combat Roleplay: I usually avoid this with people I do not know. I really do not like rolling for most combat situations. I do not feel it accurately portrays 'stat checks' that my character has, nor is it fair to your character's prowess! I will not refuse to do it; I just prefer mutual respect for one's character. This may require OOC conversation beforehand which I do encourage. Nona is not confrontational and she's very cautious on Aldenard.Lore: I abide to FFXIV's to the best of my ability. Please do not mistake this as me being a lore enforcer. I am open minded and recognize creativity is a large part of roleplay and we are fortunate enough to play an MMORPG with a lot of flexibility.
With some Legions unmentioned, some aspects of her story are my best guess. If I am incorrect and you can provide evidence of it, I would love to learn so I can address it!Socially: I am a little timid and do not like to impose. I accept all friend requests but I'm shy about sending them out most of the time. This is not a reflection of my thoughts on our RP together or your character. I also largely consider /tell and party to be OOC unless there's some indication it's IC. This means sometimes I may forget (( brackets )) to indicate I'm talking OOC in these channels. I will always use "quotes" for my IC posts.Discord is available upon request. I do not roleplay via Discord, though. It's mostly for scheduling and planning RP or just socialising.Mare is available upon request.
